It’s the kind of stuff about marriage that you don’t get to see in movies. It’s about getting older. What the hell happened? Am I making all the right choices? Is this where I’m supposed to be? Is this it? All of those dreams that you had when you were young, all of the possibilities, when you lock into marriage and kids, do the possibilities dwindle or go away?
The LA Times has some new info and the first image from Judd Apatow’s next movie, This is 40. The movie will feature Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann revisiting their characters from Knocked Up. As for the plot: “Pete’s music label is struggling and Debbie’s vanity business, a dress shop staffed by the comely Desi (Megan Fox) and the awkward Jodi (Charlyne Yi), needs to help cover the household budget.” Leslie Mann explained further: Sounds like Apatow is continuing his love of combining comedy and drama. We’ve still got a long time to wait to see how it turns out; This is 40 doesn’t hit theaters until December.
