Don’t ever say Russell Crowe didn’t do his part to further the trend of the Internet getting all salty for/about Ryan Gosling. “Ryan Gosling didn’t get an Academy nomination? There’s some bullshit right there,” Crowe tweeted today, sounding like an indie-informed Southern uncle and being kind of awesome. We’re watching closely in case this is a surreptitious way for Crowe to pave the way for a Gosling/Gladiator team-up. And hey, if he’s that big a fan of the Gos, why not put that wordy gift to use, throw a haiku at us, and maybe win a rad Scorpion jacket?
