Ryan Murphy and Ali Adler’s single-camera NBC comedy The New Normal has found its other two leads: Justin Bartha and Scottish actress Georgia King have been cast, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Bartha and The Book of Mormon’s Andrew Rannells will play a gay couple who hire King to be their surrogate so they can have a child; Ellen Barkin is already onboard as King’s racist grandmother. This is King’s first American role, but Masterpiece Theater nerds will recognize her as Pet from Little Dorrit. Departure!
