If you’ve been watching The Voice or American Idol in the past year, you’ve obviously noticed that the shows have many similarities. Both have: celebrity judges/coaches who love to trash-talk each other; hosts who overly dramatize a commercial break; and contestants with heart-wrenching life stories. Oh, and then there’s singing, too. But have you noticed that both shows also have creepy in-house Lotharios? Thanks to the lip-smacking and up-and-down-eying Steven Tyler and Cee Lo, all attractive female contestants must endure a less creative version of “Hubba hubba!” and are often required to engage in a lingering hug.
