Marilyn Manson is shoring up his Hollywood connections. The shock rocker recently employed Shia LaBeouf to direct the video for his single “Born Villain,” and this week, Manson announced that on his upcoming album of the same name, he’ll be collaborating with Johnny Depp … on a cover of the Carly Simon hit “You’re So Vain.” Well, why let the Flaming Lips, Biz Markie, and Ke$ha corner the market on unusual duets? And if Depp gets that line about “Your scarf, it was apricot,” hey, the man knows what he’s talking about.
