Michael Bay is determined to get into the reality TV business. The King of Explosions first attempted to break into the genre two years ago when he went out pitching a “game with no rules”; his current project is no less vague, but Deadline describes it as “a competition reality series that promises to test the strength of the family unit like never before,” and it’s currently set up with A&E. In other Bay news, Us reports that Bethenny Frankel recently auditioned for a role in Bay’s bodybuilder movie Pain and Gain after a casting agent (who was unfamiliar with Frankel’s Bravo shows) scouted her at a Miami zoo. No word, though, on the part she read for or which Sports Illustrated model will eventually win the role.
