Nicki Minaj’s much-discussed sophomore effort is not due out until April 3, but large (maybe even whole) chunks of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded are making their way onto the Internet as we type. The latest offering is one of the guest-heavy efforts — “Champion,” featuring Drake, an extra-raspy Young Jeezy, and Nas — and Nicki’s restrained (for her) intro verse is maybe not as memorable as the three that follow. But that would be true of any verse that has to precede a Jeremy Lin shout-out, we’d guess. Jeremy Lin! You are in real rap songs now (whether you like it or not). Congrats.
