Here’s the first trailer for Richard Linklater’s dark comedy Bernie, based on the true story of a Texas murder. Jack Black is fun as a charming, murderous assistant funeral director, Shirley MacLaine is awesomely cranky, and Matthew McConaughey is…also in the movie. Bernie comes out April 27, which could be enough time to befriend a mean old widow, shoot her and stuff her in your freezer, if you want to really relate to the protagonist’s journey.
