The “Comedy Bang! Bang!” podcast has been comedy-nerd manna for years, and now it’s making the leap to television on IFC. Starting June 8, Scott Aukerman’s penchant for absurdity and joyful weirdness will be televised. Much in the way the podcast twists the general talk-show format, it looks like the TV show too will subvert the late-night aesthetic through oddball sketches and bits. Here’s a preview of Zach Galifianakis on the first episode, and rather than plug a new movie or something, he’s straining to imagine what it would be like if dogs could talk. Zany!
