January Jones will be competing as a supporting actress instead of a lead actress for the Emmys this year, The Hollywood Reporter writes, which makes sense given Jones’s reduced role this season. But not her reduced girth, am I right? Up high! She was nominated in 2010 as a lead actress (and lost to Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer), but wasn’t nominated at all last year. Castmate Elisabeth Moss was nominated in 2009 as a lead actress, in 2010 as supporting, and in 2011 as a lead again, while Christina Hendricks was nominated as a supporting actress in 2010 and 2011. So far, no one from Mad Men has won an acting Emmy, which is nuts.
