The third and possibly/presumably final major trailer for The Dark Knight Rises is here, it is morose, it is wintry, it is Joseph Gordon-Levitt laden, it is populated with a 50 percent understandable Bane. (That first quote? That’s “I’m Gotham’s reckoning,” maybe?!) This new feast offers a few clues as to what’s hiding under Christopher Nolan’s inscrutable shroud, namely that Anne Hathaway’s Catwoman is apparently more ally than enemy, and that the film will be more grim than you had any reason to expect.
