Vincent Gallo isn’t afraid to throw shade someone’s way: The actor-director-gadabout has beefed with nearly everyone in Hollywood, including actors and directors (like Christina Ricci and Francis Ford Coppola) he’s actually made films with. Still, if it seems like it’s been a while since there’s been news of a new Vincent Gallo feud, perhaps that’s because he was harnessing his energy to take on the biggest target of his career: the city of Los Angeles. TMZ reports that Gallo has filed suit against the city to shut down a program called the Arts District Business Improvement District (it feels like there’s a superfluous “district” in there, no?), which is intended to beautify L.A.’s downtown arts neighborhood; Gallo claims that the program has been a failure, and he’d like his tax dollars back, please. Perhaps afterwards, the ever-beefin’ Gallo will set his sights on TMZ, since the headline on their report reads, “Goodfellas Actor Sues L.A.” despite the fact that Gallo is in Goodfellas for ten seconds as a featured extra with no lines. They couldn’t do anything with the Chloë Sevigny blow job movie he made?
