In the brave year of 1998, we laughed, we cringed, we made posters in other languages, all thanks to Cameron Diaz’s follicular faux pas in There’s Something About Mary. But it turns out that that iconic moment gave her hair quite the power trip that continues fourteen years later, as evidenced by the photos from her publicity blitz for her new movie, What to Expect When You’re Expecting. Like an eighties sitcom star still repeating his catchphrase in local car dealership ads, Diaz’s hair seizes any opportunity to flip up, fly around, and generally misbehave, hoping it’ll get on another movie poster, or at least its own celebreality show. And it’s up to a beleaguered Diaz — who just wants to move on with her career — to battle it back at every turn. Click on to see their endless struggle.
