Ryan Reynolds is going to be the new Highlander. What the what! Indeed, Variety reports that Reynolds is in final negotiations to take over the immortal — har, har — franchise. It’s not clear exactly what the new film will be about, but there’s an essential truth here and it’s that Ryan Reynolds is poised to be the new Highlander.
