A little while back, director James Toback told Vulture that he was working on a “totally unusual, inventive” movie that “involves rethinking what the self is”; now, we know what he has in mind. Forbes is reporting that Toback has enlisted Alec Baldwin to play himself in a movie that will shoot at the Cannes Film Festival but will basically be plotted on the fly. Your Croisette-bound Vulture reporters will costar in this if it’s the last thing we do!
