Dredd, the new Judge Dredd movie, has been in post-production for what feels like forever. (We first saw production shots back in 2010.) But now there’s the full trailer, and a few things are clear: Karl Urban definitely keeps his helmet on, Olivia Thrilby is barely recognizable, Battlestar Galactica’s opening credits had a bigger aesthetic impact than we thought, and out-of-context comic book/sci-fi lines just sound ridiculous. All the slo-mo in Mega-City One! Dredd looks substantially less ridiculous than 1995’s Judge Dredd, but so does just about everything short of Mansquito.
