It’s easy to forget that Matt Bomer, Magic Mike’s shirtless sailor, is also a dad. But at Gilt Groupe’s Park & Bond dinner honoring “New York City’s Most Stylish Dads,” we managed to get our heads out of the gutter long enough to ask him about his plans for Father’s Day. (He recently came out as gay when he thanked his partner, publicist Simon Halls, and their three sons at the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards in February.) “I don’t expect anything, but the kids always do something nice for us, like [make] a photo album,” he told us. “Something very family-oriented, obviously.” The family splits its time between New York and L.A., where the kids go to school. “I shoot here six months out of the year, for White Collar and other projects, so I’m essentially living in both cities. It is tough, especially the first half of the season until the kids get out of school. And once they’re out and they come east, it’s a lot easier from there. They’re coming out here now. Summertime!” Awwww, so sweet. Now about Magic Mike: Will we get to see the full monty? “It’s not really my place to say,” he teased. “You’re going to have to pay your money to find out.”
