Tompkins, is working on a pilot for Comedy Central called Nightcap, which is being described as “a humorous and interactive look at the world of popular culture as Paul and a recurring group of his funny friends offer their unique take on the most talked-about stories of the day.” Eban Schletter will be providing live piano accompaniment like he so wonderfully does on the Pod F. Tompkast. It’s the type of show that Comedy Central seems to be always looking for to slide into the post Daily Show/Colbert Report slot. I guess, it might be time to start looking for a three-piece pajama suit.
