The Artist wonder-dog Uggie was set to retire in January, but duty kept calling in the form of Nintendo marketing campaigns and Oscar ceremony cameos. Now he finally means it: Uggie has set a retirement party for June 26, when he will plant his paws in the cement in front of L.A.’s Chinese Theatre to promote the DVD/Blu-ray release of The Artist. (A loyal worker to the end, that Uggie.)
