When asked about the vitriolic posts (and death threats) that caused Rotten Tomatoes to suspend its Dark Knight Rises comments, director Christopher Nolan went Team Fanboy: “I think the fans are very passionate about these characters the way a lot of people are very passionate.” But there is a limit to Nolan’s understanding: He has no idea what Rush Limbaugh is talking about with the Bain/Bane stuff. “It’s a very peculiar comment to make.” Not wrong!
