Jerry Seinfeld hasn’t performed a full stand-up show in New York City this millennium. The last time was for I’m Telling Your For The Last Time, his 1998 special. That’s about to change times five, as this fall Jerry Seinfeld is going to do a performance in each of the five boroughs. So, what made him want to perform in NYC again? It seems like for Seinfeld the shows are a tribute to the city. He explains:
“I was born in Brooklyn, went to school in Queens and started out as a comedian in Manhattan. I feel like New York City taught me how to be funny. I’m so excited to perform a special series of shows for my beloved home town.”
Tickets go on sale next Monday, July 30, at 10am for the October and November shows. (Info is below.)
It’s exciting, a lot of things have happened since 1998 for Jerry to ask “what’s the deal with” them. What’s the deal with the Kardashians? They aren’t on baseball cards, they aren’t made of ash, and none of them are named Ian.
