Amid the heated contract negotiations that complicated Modern Family’s return to production on its fourth season, one cast member wound up being completely replaced. Tragically, Stella the dog will no longer be played by Brigitte, TMZ reports, and will instead be played by Beatrice, a different adorable French bulldog, for undisclosed but presumably scandalous reasons. Shake-ups! It’s like it won’t even be the same show.
