Witherspoon, Bruna Papandrea, and Leslie Dixon will head up the adaptation of Gillian Flynn’s highly stressful thriller, Gone Girl, which is currently at the top of the New York Times “Best Seller List.” The rights reportedly went for seven figures; Flynn is attached to write the screenplay. Everyone stockpile your Xanax, this should be a doozy.
