Sing it with me: “Do Do dododo dodo…” Eddie Murphy is working with the creator of The Shield to adapt Beverly Hill Cop for television. The BHC movies were insanely popular and quite fun, so this solid, if not great news. Adding to the excitement is that Murphy is committed to reprise his role of Axel Foley on the show in a reoccurring guest star capacity. Last November, Murphy told Rolling Stone a hypothetical show would focus on Axel Foley’s son (Hubcap Foley, maybe?). You hear that young actors? You better start working on your silly, young Eddie laughs.
