Ronald Reagan: so hot right now! (And it’s not just because of the RNC.) Alan Rickman is currently playing Reagan for the Lee Daniels drama The Butler, and now, THR reports that Michael Douglas has signed on to play the former president in Mike Newell’s Reykjavik, a $10 million indie set in 1986 when Reagan and Gorbachev had a productive spa week in Iceland to figure out peace accords. There’s no Gorbachev cast yet, but can we suggest Annette Bening, who has prior experience with Douglas as an American president?
