Less than a week after Frank Ocean cancelled his European tour because of vocal problems, including a stop at the V Festival in England, Nicki Minaj has also had to cancel her headline slot at the music festival. A representative said it was due to “strained vocal chords,” adding that she’d already performed one New York concert on Tuesday “despite doctor’s orders,” which apparently made things worse. Festival organizers announced yesterday that electropop duo LMFAO will fill in the now-empty slot.
