Bret Easton Ellis spent the summer casting Lindsay Lohan in his indie The Canyons, dueling Nikki Finke, and getting nixed from the Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation. He’s moving on with a new drama at the CW alongside Twilight helmer Catherine Hardwicke. Copeland Prep will center around a competitive school that turns its students into monsters. Based on his recent rage-tweets, we’re wondering if Ellis will hunt for a way to portray David Foster Wallace as one of the monsters.
