While Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina, and Yekaterina Samutsevich wait for a decision on their appeal, the remaining members of Pussy Riot have made a new video thanking followers for their support during the highly publicized trial. It’s also a protest video — a majority of the time is devoted to refuting the charges against them and lighting a poster of Vladimir Putin on fire. (There is also a giant Pussy Riot poster and some rappelling.) Madonna, Björk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Green Day all get shout-outs, and here is their sign-off: “To everyone around the world who stand up together … to fight for our right to be free. Start the Pussy Riot and never stop!”
