NBC is now developing a New Orleans–set comedy called The Swamp. The single-camera series will detail “the misadventures of a scramble-style college marching band and its unlikeliest of mentors,” Deadline writes, also throwing down the terms “social commentary” and “musical performances.” Nicely timed against the announcement of Treme’s impending finish, no?
