Drea de Matteo will star in an upcoming Lifetime movie that also serves as a backdoor pilot, which is vaguely demoralizing. Can we not give Drea de Matteo something more substantial than a Lifetime show, Hollywood? Anyway, Stalker focuses on — what else? — a “hot-headed cop,” according to THR, who teams with a prosecutor to bring stalkers to justice. It’s based on a true story, because that’s how Lifetime movies work.
