After a fight with cancer, Dutch actress Sylvia Kristel died last night at age 60. Kristel was best known for starring in the 1974 French movie Emmanuelle and several of its sequels. The erotic film series, once a fixture of early cable channels like Cinemax, was the softcore porn entry point for many boys who came of age in the eighties.
