Remember that Into the Woods adaptation that Rob Marshall signed on to direct back in January? According to Broadway World, Marshall just held a script-reading featuring Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Patrick Wilson as her Prince, James Corden as the Baker, and Nina Arianda as the Baker’s Wife. What’s more: Though Donna Murphy played the Witch for Marshall, Meryl Streep is reportedly in talks for that role in the movie (but couldn’t make it to the reading). Since it’s only a reading, Marshall may yet recast some of those roles, but how do those actors strike you?
