Kevin from ‘The Office’ Is Getting a New Show Too

Following in the footsteps of his fellow Office stars Rainn Wilson, Angela Kinsey, and Craig Robinson, Brian Baumgartner, who plays slow accountant Kevin, is lining up a new series for next year after The Office ends its run in the spring. In a new comedy sold to ABC, Baumgartner will play the lead, “a mid-level airline executive trying to experience winning again,” Deadline reports. Parks and Rec writer Harris Wittels is creating the show, which Office/Parks and Rec head honcho Greg Daniels will produce. Other Office-related shows in development right now are Rainn Wilson’s Dwight spin-off at NBC, Angela Kinsey’s Dirty Blondes with Rachael Harris at Fox, and Craig Robinson’s Greg Daniels-produced music teacher comedy at NBC. All eyes are on you, Creed Bratton.
