Here’s host Louis C.K. and cast member Bill Hader in a series of promos for this weekend’s new SNL. The two promise they’re doing the show “no matter what happens,” as long as they don’t get wet again.
New York City’s been hit hard by the hurricane, and this week, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and visiting Jimmy Kimmel Live all had to cancel tapings while David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon each did their shows without an audience for a night or two. Unlike these other NYC comedy shows, SNL will be going forward this weekend, presumably with an audience. It’s a pivotal episode for the show, its final chance to skewer the presidential election before everyone heads to the polls on Tuesday. Cast member Taran Killam tweeted about being stranded in L.A. because of the storm earlier this week, but he’s now headed back to the East Coast, tweeting this morning, “Finally on my way to NY.
