The latest episode of Paul F. Tompkins’s “Speakeasy,” his weekly web series for MadeMan.com, dropped yesterday, and in it, he sat down with Robot Chicken’s Seth Green for a sophisticated barroom chat. The highlight comes at the top, when Tompkins relives Green’s short stint as a teenage stand-up comedian with him. Apparently, in the late 80s, a young Seth Green gave stand-up comedy a shot, and he happened to perform at a Philadelphia open mic that comedy newcomer Paul F. Tompkins was hosting. Green says he’s thankful that no footage from his stand-up days have survived, but somebody out there has to have a video, right? Come on, internet! Don’t let me down!
Paul F. Tompkins fans, take note that his new stand-up album Laboring Under Delusions: Live in Brooklyn drops today on AST Records.
