The latest episode of Saturday Night Live, with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun, earned the second-highest overnight ratings of the season so far, with a 3.0 rating and 13 share in the 18-49 demo in metered-market households. It was the #1 show of the night in metered markets, beating all the primetime shows for ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and yes, even The CW. Ratings for New York are not included in these numbers because of Hurricane Sandy-related issues. The C.K.-hosted pre-election show was #2 for SNL this season, only beat by the Joseph Gordon-Levitt/Mumford & Sons episode. If Louis C.K. wants to have the highest-rated episode of the year next time around, he’d better slap on a gray tweed vest or belt out some wistful Celtic-inspired folk rock.
