British comedy quiz show mainstay Have I Got News For You might be coming to American audiences. TBS has taped a pilot of the show, with Sam Seder serving as host, the show’s U.K. producer confirmed on Twitter. This isn’t the first time the format has been adapted for American audiences: NBC taped a pilot of HIGNFY back in 2009, with Sam Seder as the host then, too, but the show didn’t get past the pilot stage. How much longer do we have to wait for a U.S. version of Mock the Week, TV executives?
