30 Rock stars Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin signed new deals with NBC earlier this year, and now, Fey’s co-showrunner at the long-running series, Jack Burditt, has renewed his contract too, Deadline reports. Burditt has signed a two-years deal with Universal, which will keep him at the network after 30 Rock’s series finale next month. Burditt joined the show during its first season and has been there ever since - although he took a short break in the fall of 2011 to create the Tim Allen show Last Man Standing on ABC, which doesn’t seem at all like a show that’s written by 30 Rock’s showrunner. Jack Burditt’s new deal will see him developing new shows at the network, for himself and for other writers. Now that NBC have secured Fey, Baldwin, and Burditt, I assume the next step is locking down the guys that play Grizz and Dot Com.
