Vulture Asks: What Was Your Song of the Year?

New York’s Nitsuh Abebe gave the Song of the Year crown to Sky Ferreira’s “Everything Is Embarrassing,” with apologies to Icona Pop’s “I Love It,” Grimes’s “Oblivion,” Schoolboy Q’s “Hands on the Wheel,” and — wait for it — Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.” But since list season is in full effect, and because everyone likes arguing about pop music, Vulture would like to hear from you. Submit your 2012 pick for Song of the Year in the comments by December 9, and next week we’ll select a handful of finalists for a reader poll. All you have to do is think of a song (“Losing You?” “Climax?” “Gangnam Style?”) that you liked. Get sharing in the comments.
