Comedy Central Renews ‘Kroll Show’ for a Second Season After Two Episodes

Comedy Central renewed its new sketch comedy series Kroll Show for a second season today after only two episodes have aired. The quick renewal is a testament to Kroll Show’s high ratings (it pulled in just over a million viewers in its first two showings), internet popularity, and the amount of faith the network has in the series. While the first season order is only for eight episodes, the second season is for 10. Nick Kroll, who co-created and stars in the series, will have to schedule Kroll Show’s new season around production of the fifth season of FX’s The League, on which he also stars. Kroll now joins his The League co-star Paul Scheer, who also stars in Adult Swim’s NTSF:SD:SUV, in having two hit cable shows on the air at once, which is very impressive and very cool.
