Arnold Schwarzenegger may have hoped to jump from the Sacramento Governor’s Mansion back into a high-flying Hollywood career, but his first leading role in The Last Stand fell flat, earning just $7.7 million despite the four-day Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday weekend. That puts it in tenth place. Topping the box office is the Guillermo del Toro–produced Mama, about feral children and a ghostly, devoted mother — Universal credits its outsized $33.2 million haul to teasers that ran during the latest Twilight installment. So not a bad weekend for Jessica Chastain, whose Mama credit now sits cozily next to her performance in second-place Zero Dark Thirty.
