House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will be making her sitcom acting debut in a few weeks on the series finale of 30 Rock, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The long-running NBC show’s hour-long swan song will air January 31st. There’s no word on the nature of Pelosi’s role in the show, but it’s safe to assume she’s playing herself in a quick cameo just last past political 30 Rock guests Al Gore, Condoleezza Rice, and Michael Bloomberg. In a creepy but charming statement about her guest spot to The Washington Post, Pelosi said, “I would do almost anything Tina Fey asks me to do.” So far, Ice-T is the only other announced guest for the 30 Rock finale, and here’s hoping that Nancy Pelosi and Ice-T have a scene (or multiple scenes) together. Pelosi is a big get for 30 Rock, but the only way to top Parks and Rec scoring Joe Biden last year is to rope in Barack Obama, himself. Ball’s in your court, 2 Broke Girls!
