Roseanne Barr is taking another swing at developing an NBC sitcom. According to THR, she and producing partner Steven Greener have signed a deal to have Barr create and star in a new comedy. Déjà vu: Barr developed an NBC sitcom last pilot season that would have reunited her with John Goodman. Alas, Downwardly Mobile didn’t make it past the pilot stage, but perhaps everyone will fare better this time. For old time’s sake, here is a clip from one of the best episodes of Roseanne. If you can hear the song “On the Road Again” without just subbing in “dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah-dah road again” for the lyrics, it’s only because you’ve never watched season four’s “Kansas City, Here We Come.”
