In exchange for Vulture’s five concerns about Seth MacFarlane as the Oscars host, the Academy has released an equal amount of promos featuring the Family Guy creator tuxedoed at last. MacFarlane pays tribute to Daniel Day-Lewis’s prowess (then spoils it with a cheesy tooth flash), discovers that people on Twitter sometimes call him a douche (points for being game), enjoys an alcoholic beverage, nails the irony of the “who are the Oscars for?” question, then just kinda stares at the camera. This should get you closer to the target as far as knowing what to expect from MacFarlane when showtime rolls around.
