When Toy Story first came out, were you one of those kids who bought all of the toys and re-created pivotal scenes from the movie? Of course you were. Well, two adults, Jonason Pauley and Jesse Perrotta, have taken the most “logical” next step forward and filmed a live-action, shot-for-shot remake of the movie using stop-motion and marionette puppetry. The two started in June 2010, when they were 17 and 18 respectively, and two years later, they were finished. The best part — other than the movie itself, obvs — is that they met with Pixar last week, and the studio gave them the go-ahead to violate tons of copyrights. Watch the full movie below, and say hello to your inner child for us.
