On one end of the Pop-Star Concert Film spectrum, you have Beyoncé, whose Life Is But a Dream will spend its time on serious issues — babies, miscarriages, “her transition from superhuman pop star to independent artist with emotions.” On the other end of the spectrum, you have One Direction’s 3-D film, which, if the below trailer is any indication, will spend its time simulating what it’s like to be in a room with One Direction while they balance tea cups on each others’ heads. Spoiler: It looks sort of fun. (More fun than the weepy confessionals, anyway.) And there’s bonus footage of Harry Styles’s mom! Moms are having a big week already.
