Great news for grandpas and robots and the people who love them: Robot & Frank is now on DVD! The film, which came out last summer, tells the story of what happens when, instead of taking your aging father to a nursing home, you give him a robot. In the case of this movie, your father will use the robot to get back into the jewel-thieving business. Frank Langella stars as Frank with Peter Sarsgaard as the robot (named Robot), James Marsden as the enabling son, and Liv Tyler as the daughter. Susan Sarandon rounds out the cast as a local librarian and love interest for Frank. What more can you ask for (in a heartwarming robot and old man movie)?
