Somebody get some flowers, somebody get a ring — somebody’s getting married, and it’s Miss Piggy. Production designer Eve Stewart, who recently designed Les Miserables, is working on the new Muppet movie and had this tidbit to share: “Today has been one of the best days of my life,” she said in an interview on BBC 4 on Sunday. “[I’m] designing Miss Piggy’s wedding at the Tower of London. Get me!” First, A+ for enthusiasm, Ms. Stewart. Second, Muppet wedding! Miss Piggy and Kermit have actually been married three times, sort of, twice on The Muppet Show and once in The Muppets Take Manhattan, plus surely they’re common-law married at this point.
