Earlier this week, Bolshoi Ballet dancer Pavel Dmitrichenko was detained in connection to an acid attack on the ballet’s artistic director, Sergei Filin. He’s now pretty much confessed: “I organized the attack, but not to the extent of the damage that happened,” he told a Russian news station. There’s also another ballerina involved. Investigators believe Dmitrichenko ordered the attack because his girlfriend, Bolshoi soloist Anzhelina Vorontsova, was denied certain roles by Filin. So Black Swan was a documentary, basically.
