Homeland’s third season doesn’t start up until September, but until then we can argue about whether Brody and Carrie belong together or if they are doomed or if they both belong together and are doomed, or if their romance is bad for the show or what. And now Damian Lewis has weighed in! “Brody and Carrie are over,” he told Digital Spy. “I think it’s over. I don’t think those two can be together,” he said. “Can you imagine them being married and bringing up kids?” (Uh … sort of! Don’t rob me of that!) Lewis says that, ultimately, he doesn’t think Carrie and Brody’s romantic relationship is “a story that’s got many legs,” even though last time we checked it was a story with four legs, and they were sexy, well-defined legs, and they were wrapped around each other during vigorous, traitorous intercourse.
